The allegations that the riots in Kazakhstan could be repeated in Uzbekistan are unfounded.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from President of Uzbekistan Shovkat Mirziyayev.

"Recently, the leaders of some countries have voiced unfounded opinions that Uzbekistan should learn from the events in Kazakhstan. We are following all the challenges and threats related to the situation in the region. We have all the necessary potential and strength to adequately respond to any threat," he said.

It should be noted that the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, in fact, threatened the leadership of Uzbekistan, saying that Uzbekistan should learn from the events in Kazakhstan.
