A fire broke out at a chemical plant in Passaic, New Jersey, USA.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Turkish media.

Mayor Hector Laura said more than 45 tons of chlorine pellets were damaged, according to preliminary data.

A firefighter was reportedly injured in the incident.
