Blinken spoke to Stoltenberg

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Axar.az reports that during the telephoe conversation, the sides discussed the steps to be taken after the meeting of the NATO-Russia Council.

The State Department said that the United States and NATO are ready to hold a new meeting with Russia:

"Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss the next steps after the January 12 meeting of the NATO-Russia Council. The United States and NATO are ready to meet again with Russia and resume diplomatic activities and dialogue."
