There was an earthquake in Zangilan

On January 16, an earthquake shook Zangilan, 49 kilometers northeast of Ordubad station.

Axar.az reports that the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told the epicenter of the earthquake, registered at 07:25 local time, was located at a depth of 6 kilometers.

The magnitude of the earthquake was 5 in the epicenter and 3-4 in the surrounding areas.
