From the Kremlin to US sanctions: Ties will be cut!

New US sanctions against the Russian leadership could lead to a severance of ties between Moscow and Washington.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

He said that the breakdown of relations is to the detriment of both sides:

"This step by the United States would be a big mistake."

US senators from the ruling party have proposed deadly sanctions against Russia's top officials and key economic figures.
