A Tbilisi court has overturned a fine of 2,000 lari (about $ 600) imposed on the Georgian Justice Ministry's Special Penitentiary Service for publishing footages of former President Mikheil Saakashvili in prison.

Axar.az reports that the court completely satisfied the appeal of the Penitentiary Service by cancelling the fine and the obligation to delete all videos related to Saakashvili.

The Georgian Interior Ministry's Special Penitentiary Service released footage of former President Mikheil Saakashvili being transferred from Rustavi Prison to Gldansk Prison Hospital in Tbilisi.

In December last year, the Georgian State Inspectorate fined Saakashvili 500 lari and the Special Penitentiary Service 2,000 lari for disseminating images of Saakashvili.
