It is too early to talk about the threat of sanctions against Russian banks, and media speculation is often based on rumours.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Let's not rely on various assumptions in the media, which are often not based on anything or based on any rumours. Let's focus on the authorities of countries subject to sanctions," Peskov said.
