Call from the CSTO to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Stanislav Zas has called for an immediate ceasefire on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by RIA Novosti.

"The CSTO is ready to assist Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in resolving the conflict," Zas said.

It should be noted that heavy skirmishes took place on the border between the two countries this evening. It is said that some people were injured during the incident.
