Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan resume talks

Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have resumed talks after a border clash.

Axar.az reports that Commander of the Tajik Border Troops Rajabali Rahmanali and chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Gamchibek Tashiyev have begun talks in the Chorhuk community. The meeting is also attended by the head of the Sughd region of Tajikistan Rajabboy Ahmadzade.

It should be noted that an armed shootout took place between Kyrgyz and Tajik border guards yesterday. Two people were killed and more than 20 were injured in the shooting. There are civilians among the wounded
