50 Russian servicemen were killed, Ukraine said

The attack on the city of Shastye was repulsed, the enemy suffered casualties.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security of Ukraine.

"As a result of the attempted attack, enemy equipment and about 50 servicemen were killed. Shastye is ours! ” the statement said.

Earlier, Russian-backed separatist forces said they had captured the town of Shastye.
