Russia's special military operation against Ukraine is the only way to stop the fratricidal massacre initiated by Kiev.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Chairman of the Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko.

"Russia has announced a special military operation to force Ukraine into peace and to stop its active militarization. We simply had no choice. Yes, this is not an easy choice, but it is the only way to stop the fratricidal war. "It's the only way to save peace and save lives."
