Erdogan called Putin to Turkey

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to Turkey to discuss easing tensions in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Erdogan said this at a meeting of the AKP.

Erdogan said that Turkey is a supporter of peace: "In a telephone conversation with Mr. Putin, I invited him to Turkey to normalize the situation."
