Belgium will not shut down nuclear power plants

Belgium has reversed its decision to close nuclear power plants (NPPs) in 2025.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.

He said the Russia-Ukraine war had increased uncertainty.

"Therefore, we have decided to extend the life of nuclear power plants in the country for 10 years."
