The authors of Western sanctions against Russia are hitting the economies and peoples of Europe and the United States.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"These sanctions are mainly causing a global crisis," he said. Guided by their far-sighted, exaggerated political ambitions and Russophobia, their authors struck more blows at their national interests, their economies and the well-being of their citizens. "We see this primarily in the sharp rise in inflation in Europe," Putin said.
