Erdogan does not want Finland to join NATO

We do not welcome the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Because the government before us made a wrong decision on NATO regarding Greece. So you know Greece's attitude towards Turkey, relying on NATO. The Scandinavian countries have become a breeding ground for terrorist organizations. PKK and DHKPC terrorist organizations are nested in Sweden and the Netherlands. They even sit in the parliaments of those countries. Therefore, we cannot take a positive approach to their joining the Alliance," Erdogan said.
