Italian ambassador to Russia was summoned to the FM

Italian Ambassador to Russia Giorgio Starace has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Axar.az reports the statement came from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The Italian ambassador was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry and announced that he would be responsible for the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Italy," the statement said.

It should be noted that on April 30 this year, the Italian Foreign Minister announced the decision to expel 30 Russian diplomats from the country.
