Putin rejected Erdogan's offer - Poroshenko

Erdogan offered to keep Ukrainian troops in Turkiye until the end of the war. Putin rejected Erdogan's proposal.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in an interview with Turkish CNN.

"Russia has entered our lands. The civilian population was killed. Ukrainian soldiers defended their cities, lands and people. We thank Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his team. Because he offered to keep Ukrainian soldiers in Turkiye until the end of the war. Putin rejected Erdogan's proposal. This is unacceptable. Many civilians were killed."After that, massacres were committed in Mariupol as well," the former president said.
