Biden wants India to join the sanctions

US President Joe Biden will meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to try to persuade him to join Western pressure on Russia.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US President's Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

"It will be a constructive and frank conversation," he said.

Biden is scheduled to meet with Modi as part of a summit of leaders of the Quadripartite Security Dialogue in Japan (USA, Japan, India and Australia).
