Putin is increasing pressure on Europe in two directions

Vladimir Putin's goal is not only the food crisis caused by the war in Ukraine but also the migration crisis. According to the Russian President, after the cut in grain supply, starving people will try to escape from these regions and go to Europe. Like millions of Syrians who once fled the horrors of war.

Axar.az reports the statement came from former German Ambassador to Russia Rudiger von Fritsch.

With the new wave of refugees, he said that Putin wants to destabilize Europe and put political pressure on Western governments to abandon their tough stance on Russia.

"This is a new hybrid war. The war in Ukraine will not end soon, because Putin is now faced with maintaining his power. Therefore, the war is likely to continue and expand."
