Aliyev demands Khojaly killers in Brussels

The Armenian press has made an interesting claim regarding the Brussels meeting. According to the claim, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev demanded that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan prosecute high-ranking Armenian servicemen involved in the First Karabakh War and, most importantly, the Khojaly massacre, as well as extradite them to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs that even the President of Azerbaijan Charles Michel said he would not refuse this demand.

According to the Hraparak newspaper, the people Ilham Aliyev demanded from Nikol Pashinyan were Generals Manvel Grigoryan, Ashot Minasyan, Yuri Khachaturov, Seyran Ohanyan and Gnel Manukyan. In addition, several other colonels and lieutenant colonels demanded the extradition to Azerbaijan.

Of the Armenian generals named, only Gnel Makukyan died shortly after the 44-day war.
