If Finland and Sweden do not meet Turkey's requirements, they will not be able to run for NATO.

Axar.az reports the statement came from NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.

"When an ally raises a problem, you have to solve it. This has always been the case, "Stoltenberg said.

According to him, the Madrid summit, which will be attended by Finland and Sweden as guests, will take place on June 28-30.

The NATO Secretary-General also noted that if Finland and Sweden do not meet Turkey's requirements by June 28, it will be difficult for them to strengthen their positions as candidate countries.
