Moscow doubts the sincerity of US statements about its readiness to work under the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

"Let me doubt the sincerity of Karen Donfried's statements. "If Washington and Paris really considered the unique mediation format of the Minsk Group important, they would not ignore the mandate approved by all participating states," Zakharov said.

According to him, the United States and France cut off contact with the Russian co-chair of the Minsk Group on February 24 without any consultations.

The exact reasons for this outrage have not yet been clarified.
