Putin called an emergency meeting of the Security Council

Russian President Vladimir Putin has held an emergency meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.

Axarşaz reports the statement came from the Kremlin's press service.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, and Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
