Afghanistan is in a humanitarian and economic crisis.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Taliban official Abdul Qahar Balkhi.

According to him, the government has difficulty providing sufficient assistance to the people.

"Humanitarian organizations, neighboring countries, and world powers are helping, but this aid must be increased because this is the most devastating earthquake in decades," he said.
