Axar.az reports the statement came from Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny.
He said that today the zone of active combat operations begins in the north of the Kharkiv region and ends near the village of Vasilyevka on the left bank of the Dnieper River:
"The fiercest fighting is taking place in the north of Luhansk and Kharkiv regions. On the last day alone, the enemy fired 45,000 rounds of ammunition at the area, fired 270 artillery pieces, and fired two missiles and 32 air strikes. The situation is very difficult but manageable, " he said.
