Macron did not recognize Russia as a sponsor of terrorism

French President Emmanuel Macron has refused to recognize Russia as a sponsor of terrorism.

axar.az reports that the statement came from French President Francois Hollande at a press conference following the G7 summit.

Macron stressed that he was against such a methodology and always tried to be guided by a legal approach to such issues:

"As for the classification as a sponsor of terrorism, understand me correctly. France does not share such a methodology, because we always try to be guided by a legal approach. "
