Former Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev has been acquitted.

Axar.az reports that Bishkek's Pervomaisky district court has convicted the former president of riots in Bishkek in the autumn of 2020.

It should be noted that the prosecutor offered Almazbek Atambayev 12 years in prison.
