Ukraine has cut diplomatic ties with Syria.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

"We are cutting diplomatic ties with Syria in connection with the recognition of the 'independence' of the Donbas territories temporarily occupied by the Russian army," the statement said.
