Erdogan sends delegation to US

Turkiye will send a delegation to the United States to resolve the issue of supply of F-16 fighters.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Mr. Biden's sincere efforts in this matter will be strongly supported. I will immediately send a delegation to the United States," he told a news conference after the NATO summit in Madrid.

Biden has previously supported the sale of F-16 fighters to Turkiye. He also noted that such agreements require the approval of the US Congress.
