A wildfire broke out in Izmir

A fire broke out in two forest areas in Izmir, Turkey.

Axar.az reports that 4 helicopters and 4 aeroplanes belonging to the Izmir Forestry Regional Directorate were involved in extinguishing the fire that started in the Birgi district. Fire extinguishing works are ongoing.
