Increasing heat prices in Germany is a "social land mine". Energy prices are a concern.
Axar.az reports that German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz said this.
"Suddenly increasing the heating bill by a few hundred euros is an amount that many people cannot cope with. It is a 'social landmine' that can have terrible consequences."
The chancellor promised state support to gas suppliers and consumers against the backdrop of rising gas prices.
