The Kremlin is playing games with the Kaliningrad ban

Lithuania has closed the transit crossing from its territory to Kaliningrad since April, after the corresponding EU sanction.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis.

He said that Putin reacted to this restriction in June, which indicates some of the Kremlin's games:

"Some say it's because the war in Ukraine is 'not going well and is a distraction." However, the fourth package of sanctions was adopted in April. The whole explanation was there. And we've seen the volume of transit go down. Therefore, what we are observing now is a game.

It should be noted that Lithuania has banned the transit of products under Western sanctions in Kaliningrad. Russia reacted sharply to this.
