Putin asked for a missile defense system, Erdogan smiled

Mr. Putin half-jokingly, half-seriously said, "You give Ukraine an IED, give it to us, we'd like to get one." Our President (Erdogan - ed.) also smiled. So, we can talk about it, he hinted...

Axar.az.az reports that Ibrahim Kalin, the head of the Public Relations Department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey, said these words, "Was there an offer from Russia to Turkey for the joint production of anti-aircraft missiles?" he said in response to the question.

"Commitment is not a matter of discussion. Putin knows our position. We recognize the right of defense of Ukraine. But we are not doing this to encourage war, but to end the war as soon as possible," he said.
