The Russians send troops north of Donetsk into Zaporizhzhia, ending their campaign to advance to Sloviansk. This will probably give the Armed Forces of Ukraine the opportunity to launch a counterattack in the direction of Izyum.

Axar.az reports that the US Institute for the Study of War has released information about this.

"The withdrawal of troops from the Donetsk region will likely give Ukraine the opportunity to launch a counter-offensive operation in the direction of Izyum. The introduction of Russian troops into the Zaporizhia region suggests that Ukraine's counter-attacks are not limited to the Kherson region and will probably take place throughout the south," the report said.
