A call from NATO to Baku and Yerevan

NATO calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to immediately stop the conflict and return to the negotiating table.

Axar.az reports that Xavier Colomina, the NATO Secretary General's special representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, wrote about this on his Twitter page.

He said that the alliance supports the normalization of relations between the two countries.

"We deeply regret the loss of life and call on both sides to de-escalate and return to the negotiating table."
