If Russia uses Iranian drones in the war against Ukraine, the Ukrainian army will be able to shoot them down with the help of air defence, missile defence and even fighter jets.

Axar.az reports that military expert Roman Svitan said this.

"The flight height of these drones is slightly higher than the target range of the Stinger. "Stinger" can shoot down an unmanned aircraft at a height of up to five kilometres, and let's say that "Shahid-191" and "129" (Iranian drones - ed.) can go up to 7-9 kilometres. The Stinger can't hit them at that altitude, but our air defence system, our missile defence system and our Air Force will shoot down an Iranian IED. Now the new systems that will be given to us - the German IRIS-T and especially the Norwegian-American NASAMS can shoot UAVs at an altitude of 20 kilometres. The Iranian UAV will be a very easy target for these air defence systems," he said.
