Russia is ready to exchange prisoners with the US

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that Russia is ready to discuss the issue of a prisoner exchange with the United States.

Axar.az reports that TASS reported on this.

"The Russian Federation is ready to discuss the issue of a prisoner exchange with the United States, but within the framework of the mechanism agreed by Putin and Biden," Lavrov said.

It should be noted that the media claimed that Russia demanded the release of Vadim Krasikov, who is serving a sentence in Germany, along with Viktor Bout, who is imprisoned in the United States, in exchange for the release of American citizens - Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan.
