The Chinese ambassador was summoned to the White House

The US summoned the Chinese ambassador to the White House to condemn the escalation against Taiwan and reaffirm that the US does not want a crisis in the region.

Axar.az informs that "Washington Post" newspaper published information about this.

"Following China's actions overnight, we summoned Ambassador Qin Gang to the White House to expose China's provocative actions," White House spokesman John Kirby said.
