The presidents of Russia and Turkey are deciding the fate of the South Caucasus and Armenia in Sochi.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Turkologist Varuzhan Gegamyan wrote these words on his social network account.

Gegamyan admitted that since 1988, we have been able to ensure that the superpowers "take into account" the Armenian factor during the negotiations:

"But then 2018 happened (Nikol Pashinyan is expected to come to power - ed.). There can be no sovereignty without an army. There cannot be a state without an army in the Middle East.

The Armenian government is guilty of everything. Unless the Armenian elite takes responsibility for establishing a pro-Armenian government and restoring the Armenian factor, others will make decisions for us."
