Moscow is seriously concerned about a new wave of armed violence in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone.

Axar.az reports that the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, said this.

"This time, the tension arose when the Israeli Air Force carried out airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on August 5, Palestinian groups started bombing Israeli territories indiscriminately in response to these attacks," Zakharova said.

He said that Moscow calls on the parties to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to show restraint and return to the ceasefire regime.
