Algeria will hold joint exercises with Russia

Joint Russian-Algerian anti-terror exercises called "Desert Shield 2022" will be held in Algeria for the first time.

Axar.az reports that the Russian Southern Military District has released information about this.

"Desert Shield 2022" anti-terror exercises will be held in Algeria. The second final planning conference in preparation for the Russian-Algerian joint exercise was held in the Bechar region of the country. The training will be held in Hammaguir training ground in Algeria in November this year. About 80 soldiers from both Algeria and Russia will be involved in the exercises," the information said.
