Putin supported Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin supported his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a critical moment for Ankara.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by Bloomberg.

"Turkish elections are less than a year away, and Putin's support will be good for Erdogan as Ankara needs to stabilize its economy. Also, the agreements reached in the negotiations in Sochi regarding the payment of Russian gas by Turkey in rubles will stabilize the lira and prevent a new wave of price increases," the agency said.
