Erdogan will discuss Akkuyu NPP with Putin

Turkey is monitoring the situation related to the construction of the "Akkuyu" NPP. The leaders of Turkey and Russia intend to discuss this in the next negotiations.

Axar.az reports that Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, said this.

"We cannot allow failure in the implementation of this megaproject of Turkey. President Erdogan said that he will visit Mersin on his way back from Sochi, check the progress of the works and discuss the situation with the Russian leader. We are trying to resolve the situation and follow the schedule," said the minister.
