What is accused of attacking Salman Rushdie?

The person who stabbed the Indian writer Salman Rushdie on August 12 is accused of murder and assault.

Axar.az reports that "Guardian" published information about this.

Andrew Wiley, the writer's attorney, noted that Rushdie was on artificial respiration, his liver and arm were seriously injured, and he may lose one of his eyes.

It should be noted that Salman Rushdie was attacked yesterday before his lecture at "Chautauqua" Institute in New York.
