Biden's two decisions against Putin's shock plan

In October 2021, it was already clear to the White House that Russia would launch a full-scale war against Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the "Washington Post" has published information about this based on its sources in the White House and NATO.

According to information, in October 2021, Biden held a meeting with the military and intelligence officers. Based on their analysis, they convinced the US president that the Kremlin was preparing for war. Also, satellite images and talks by intelligence officers were among the pieces of evidence that a large-scale attack was about to take place.

"Putin's plans were very ambitious. So, after he took over most of Ukraine, he would begin to threaten NATO's eastern flank. Therefore, the United States realized that it was urgent to prepare Ukraine for war. But there was a problem. In some NATO countries - including the United States the confidence level was low.

In the fall, the White House began looking for ways to increase Ukraine's defense capabilities.
