Protest action regarding Lake Urmu in Tabriz

Azerbaijani national-cultural activists held a protest in Tabriz on September 4 due to the drying up of Lake Urmia and the salt storm disaster.

Axar.az reports that information about this was spread on the "Azad Iran" Telegram channel.

The participants of the action painted graffiti on the walls in order to draw the public's attention to this tragedy. The slogan "Death of Lake Urmu-Salt Storm-Death of Azerbaijan" is written on the walls in English.
