Sanctions against Russia turned against themselves - Lavrov

Sanctions imposed on Russia have damaged Western countries.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"Even though the unilateral restrictive measures of the West were applied under the slogan of harming Russia, they could not undermine the country's economy. Moreover, the sanctions turned against them. In most European countries, price increases, income decreases, and energy resource shortages are observed," Lavrov noted.
