Zelensky thanked Erdogan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports that the leader of Ukraine wrote about this on his Twitter page.

"215 people in captivity in Russia have been returned. Among them are 188 defenders of Azovstal and Mariupol. 5 commanders will remain in Turkey. They will be able to meet their families. I am deeply grateful to President Erdogan for that."

V. Zelensky also said that they are trying to return other captives.

It should be noted that 215 prisoners were returned to Ukraine yesterday through the mediation of R.T. Erdogan.
