Putin: Sanctions against us worsen the food situation

Sanctions against Russia are worsening the food situation in the world.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this.

He said that this situation is not related to Russia's special operation in Ukraine and that all responsibility falls on the West.

"The supply of our grains and fertilizers abroad is difficult for the world food market. Sanctions against Russia threaten to worsen the situation further and turn into a global food crisis, which the world has been heading for several years. It has absolutely nothing in common with Russia's special military operation in Donbas. Some leading countries have established their financial and food policies in this way," said the Russian President.
