Russia sent forces and equipment to Kazakhstan

Russian servicemen have been deployed to Kazakhstan to participate in the joint exercises of the CSTO forces "Mutual Action-2022", "Search-2022" and "Echelon-2022".

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Education and Culture has released information about this.

"The personnel, weapons and military equipment of the 201st military base were transported from the Hisar airfield to the Lugovaya airfield of the Jambyl region of Kazakhstan by the Il-76 aircraft of the Military-Transport Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces. Military personnel have been placed in command-and-control stations, engineering equipment and camouflage equipment for firing positions at the "Matibulag" training ground have been put into operation," the information says.

It should be noted that the 201st military base located in Tajikistan is the largest military facility outside the borders of Russia.
